Parking

There is restricted parking (90mins) very close to MEC in the Lydney Place North car park.

For courses, free all day parking is available near the central business district. Workers also use this parking so the earlier you are, the closer to the CBD you will get!
Peppermill Café is always open for early morning coffee (just across the Countdown carpark from the Centre).

FREE all day parking is available at:

• All of Wineera Drive behind the Mega Centre.
• All of Heriot Drive. There are no time or other parking restrictions.
• Jellicoe and Norrie Streets. There are some marked and sign posted bus stops and time restricted parking spaces in these streets.
• Lyttelton Avenue – Along the stream (northern) side of the road south from the shops to the Station Road exit and on the opposite side from Walton Leigh Avenue to the Station Road exit. Note: There are marked and sign posted bus stops, and restricted spaces along this street.
• The off road car park situated at the southern end of Lyttelton Avenue near the Station Road exit between the stream and Mobil service station.
• The "railway" car park located on the State Highway 1 side of the Porirua Railway Station and railway line. Entry and exit is via the Mungavin interchange.

FREE 4-hour parking is available

• In the underground carpark under New World supermarket parking.
