Barbara Brann

Barbara Brann has been involved in Education as a teacher, administrator and advisor for more than 35 years. Over the past 12 years, through her private educational consultancy, BMB Educational Consultancy (Australia and New Zealand), she has provided consultancy, professional development and training in programmes and methods to teachers throughout the world.
Barbara is an accomplished and well known international speaker and writer of educational books, resources and programmes.
Barbara spent 10 years living and teaching in New Zealand. Although she now lives in Australia, she returns several times each year to work in New Zealand. Over the past 12 months she has been involved in research into early literacy acquisition in Auckland schools, using her framework, “The Magic Caterpillar's Building Blocks to Literacy.”
Barbara is probably best known for “The Magic Caterpillar (Casey the Caterpillar) Handwriting Process.”
