Paula Gilbert

Paula is an NZCER A B Csp and C grade tester.

Background

Paula has been involved in research including " the gifted student with learning difficulties", " the child's development to the stages in reading development" and" the dysphonetic and dyseidetic Dyslexia."
Her passion and interest for the SLD student started when teaching the lowest streamed commercial classes at a Girls’ High School. She has spent many years in and out of the classroom, in private teaching of the SLD student, in the business world working with adults with reading and spelling issues. For the last 7 years, she has worked on furthering her understanding of the SLD student. She is presently in private practice as an education advisor and a Dyslexic diagnostic specialist. She also works with SPELD NZ as a SPELD tester.
